CANDIDATE PRIVACY STATEMENT
This Privacy Statement informs you of how Alorica collects/uses personal data in the context of your candidacy for employment.  

What kinds of personal data do we collect and process?   
Your name, contact information (such as address, phone number, email address), gender, work permit or visa information, your employment and education history, referrals, or references, whether you are subject to any prior employer obligations, and any other information you provide. 

Desired salary or other job preferences/expectations. 

Interview details, and outcomes of any recruiting exercises you complete. 

If disclosed, any special needs or health conditions, and other information relating to accommodations that you may request during the recruiting process. 

If required, health information to monitor the spread of infectious diseases in the workplace.  

If you are being referred, the information the person referring you provides about you. 

We also receive information such as your past experience, contact information, and demographics, from third-party data providers who have the rights to provide us with your information. These partners collect your information from publicly available sources or through third parties they work with. 

Other personal data required by law or needed to move forward with your application.  

How do we use this personal data?    
To receive, review and reply to your application. 

To verify the information you or others provide. 

To assess your suitability for the opportunity you applied for, and in certain cases, for other opportunities.  

To facilitate the interview/recruiting process. 

To prepare an offer letter or contract if your application is successful. 

If you were referred, to inform the referrer of the status of your application. 

To perform analysis related to recruiting metrics, and to manage/improve our recruiting processes. 

To create and submit reports as required by applicable law or regulation. 

To conduct background checks (to the extent permitted by applicable laws if you accept a conditional offer).  

To ensure compliance with legal obligations including but not limited to fraud prevention, financial and/or tax reporting, health and safety obligations, immigration compliance, and/or to comply with other worker protection legislation. 

To defend legal claims. 

How do Alorica companies/entities transmit information?  
Alorica companies/entities share infrastructure, systems, and technology to process your personal data. For example, Alorica employees may collaborate globally to connect candidates with the right opportunities and to prepare to onboard new hires.  Thus, your personal data may be shared between the Alorica entities as part of the hiring process.  Your personal data may also be transferred abroad according to the requirements established by the applicable laws.  The destination countries may or may not have the same data protect requirements similar to where you live.  However, personal data we collect, and process will be transmitted to in countries outside of where you live only if it is necessary for the fulfillment of: (i) the purposes provided in this Statement; and/or (ii) our legal obligations.  Any third parties with which your personal data may be shared shall have a level of protection substantially similar to the measures established by the applicable laws.   

How do we work with vendors and service providers?   
Alorica may work with third-party partners who help with the recruiting process, including recruitment service providers, vendors facilitating interviews and tests, lawyers, and consultants, reporting and analytics service providers, pre-employment screening services, or vendors assisting us with the implementation of health and safety measures.  As such, we may share your personal data with our third-party partners to process your data in the context of your candidacy at Alorica.  We require these third parties to protect the personal data they receive with appropriate security measures and prohibit them from using the personal data for their own purposes or outside what is necessary to provide the service. 

For how long do we retain personal data?   
We will retain personal data for as long as is required to comply with our legal obligations, to enforce our contractual agreements, or as necessary for our legitimate interests, such as to consider you for other current and future employment.  If you are hired, we retain the personal data you about you/your application process, as part of your employee records. 

How do we secure your personal data?   
We have security measures and controls to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, accessed, altered, or disclosed in an unauthorized way. We limit access to your personal data to those employees, contractors or third parties who have a business need to know and are subject to a duty of confidentiality. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect your personal data and maintain safeguards to protect your personal data. 

How can you exercise your rights as a data subject?   
In accordance with applicable law, you may have the right to access, update and rectify your personal data.  You may also request proof of the consent you previously provided for the processing of your personal data except when expressly exempted as a requirement for processing, in accordance with the provisions of applicable law.  You also may have the right to revoke consent and/or request suppression of your personal data in accordance with local laws. Unless otherwise established by applicable law(s), the revocation and/or suppression will proceed only if it is determined that Alorica has infringed the applicable law while processing your personal data.  You can contact us with any questions or inquiries relating to your personal data at data.privacy@alorica.com.   Where applicable, you may also have the right to submit a claim with the relevant authority in relation to your personal data. 

APPLICANT ATTESTATION 
You understand that employment with Alorica is also contingent on your providing sufficient documentation necessary to establish your identity and eligibility to work. 

You certify that, if employed, your employment with Alorica will not conflict with, violate, or breach any agreement you are a party to or am bound by, including any non-solicitation, non-competition, or other similar post-employment restriction you have with any current or former employer. 

You understand that, where permissible under applicable law, you may be subject to a pre-employment background screen, drug test and/or medical examination after receiving a conditional offer of employment and must meet the qualifications for the position.    

You authorize Alorica to contact your current and/or former employers, schools, references, and/or other persons or organizations you have disclosed in the application/hiring process for the purpose of verifying the information you have provided. You release your current and former employers, schools, references, and other persons or organizations named in this application from any liability resulting from the information released. You authorize employers, schools, and other persons or organizations named in this application to provide any information requested.  

You certify that the information submitted in your application is true and complete.  You understand that any misleading information or falsification of information may disqualify you from consideration for employment or, if hired, may result in your termination, as permitted by law.
